Toshiba Release Netphone 6.4

Toshiba is pleased to announce the release of version 6.4 software for the Strata Netphone. Version 6.4 provides call centre agents and office users with a more efficient communication tool. Netphone now provides a Presence Viewer capability which allows users to check other member’s status. It can initiate the chat or call, depending on the user’s status and eliminates unnecessary attempts to call or chat with other users.

Strata Netphone version 6.4 is also compatible with the Strata CIX IP mobility feature. When the IP mobility feature is assigned for the directory number which Netphone uses, the user can switch to the Netphone from the IP featurephone or SoftIPT Soft Phone. When the user switches from the Netphone VoIP to the telephone or SoftIPT, the voice connection is changed to the telephone and SoftIPT while the Netphone can still provide the screen pop and control the phone.

In addition to the above Netphone version 6.4 introduce’s a new sleeker look to the Strata Netphone application. This includes a gradient dark background, tabs replace the option buttons and new icons.

To order Strata Netphone version 6.4 simply place your Netphone orders in the normal manner.

In order for existing Strata Netphone customers to upgrade to this latest version of Netphone 6.4 software, the customers Strata ACD system must have a valid software maintenance contract. If the software maintenance contract has lapsed, please ensure that the software maintenance has been renewed before upgrading your customers to Netphone software version 6.4.
