Voice & Data Cabling

Cat5/Cat6 Voice and Data Cabling

Any solid data/telephony network is based on a quality-cabling infrastructure, which holds the whole system together. Without a good quality data cabling system data will be transmitted slower, information can be corrupted or lost.Data Cabling

At TWL Voice and Data we specialise in HellermannTyton structured cabling systems, which allows you to carry voice and data in any format, enabling you to simply plug the appropriate adapter in and get started. Easily make changes by simply moving patch leads and plug them into their new position.

Structured Cabling installation is highly flexible and allows you to maximise space an enable the rapid deployment or redeployment of PC and telephone hardware.

With over 10 years networking history, we have gained the experience to enable us to offer a broad range of data cabling solutions. The copper data cabling installation portfolio
includes:
We can install data cabling solutions ranging in size from 1 to 1000 outlets and have experience in a wide variety of different environments including Schools, Hotels, Manufacturing, Computer Centre’s and Financial Institutions.

Fibre Cabling

Where does Copper (Cat5e/Cat6) end and Fibre start?
The two easy answers are Distance or External. With the limitations of Copper restricted to a maximum of 90 metres, if you require your network to extend beyond this you would introduce Fibre Optic Cabling, and using media converters to change the signals capabilities from Copper to Fibre you connect two cabinets together and you have a basic Network.

FibreIf your network requires 2 or more buildings are connected together you would use fibre in the same way, extending the Network into another building, allowing users to use the same computer files and telephone system as if they where in the main office. TWL Voice and Data can install all forms of fibre, Single mode, Multimode and Blown Fibre.

What is fibre optics?
Picture sending signals zipping along from one location to another in the form of light guided through thin fibres of glass or plastic. These signals can be analogue or digital - voice, data or video information and fibre can transport more information longer distances in less time than any copper wire.
